LOOKS LIKE THE OLD WEST

When you walk into a store in Yuma, Arizona, and see a fellow in the checkout lane packing a “six shooter”in a holster . . . and he’s not wearing a badge . . . you might think you have stepped into an old western movie. Never fear, you are just in Arizona which has probably the loosest gun control law in the country. In Arizona anyone who is at least 21 years of age can “carry and conceal” a weapon with no license, no background check and no training. I’m not an anti-gun person but it must make you wonder what will happen if two gun-toters sitting behind you in a restaurant get into a heated argument. Seems like it would be very easy for them to “whip out their pieces”. I just hope it doesn’t happen and, if it does, that I’m not in the line of fire. In many ways, Arizona never moved out of the “Wild West.”
