I have a new motto: "If you don't have anything to say, don't say it". It's one I wish some others would adopt. On a recent bus trip the fellow behind me was talking continually without saying much. He had an opinion on everything, gave a continuing comment about the scenery, and seemed to know the answer to all questions whether the answer was correct or not. I really wanted to rebut some of his answers but knew it would only extend the conversation. There's a time to talk and a time to keep silent. I wish more people would know the difference.
