BEAUTY VERSUS FUNCTIONALITY

I like trees as much as the next man, especially since living in the Sonoran Desert you don't see many.  I do think that they can make a city more attractive. But they also can prove troubling for new drivers in an area. When in a modern city, such as Folsom, California, there are regulations controlling the height and size of signs as well as areas of  beautician with trees it becomes very difficult to find businesses. It can also be dangerous because, in some cases, even stop signs may be obscured as well as street signs. I guess that's when you just have to rely on a GPS unit to get you to your destination.
