TACO TUESDAY

Another Taco Tuesday has come and gone at Del Taco and all the seniors who crowded in to get three tacos for $1.09 ($2.09 for Super) survived. As we age it appears that it often becomes more difficult to make decisions. And there are a lot to make on Taco Tuesday. First, of course, you have to decide whether to splurge on the Super. Then there’s the question of hard shell or soft shell. Next: “Will that be chicken or beef?”. What about drinks?: coffee, soda (regular or diet), or water. The final big decision is what type of sauce to use: mild, spicy, or blazing. Of course you do have to decide where to sit (if there is any choice): booth, table near the window, etc. By the time you actually finish your tacos you’ve pretty well used up your decision-making ability for the day and know better than to try and tackle the nearby Walmart this Tuesday.
