TOO SMALL OR TWO BIG

The main grocery store in the Foothills is Fry's. When all the winter visitors flock into the Yuma area many shop there. For years people, particularly permanent residents, had complained that the store was too small, too crowded. As a result of these comments the company built a beautiful new store. Now you hear people complaining because the store is too big and they have to walk more. But it had to be big to accommodate an olive bar, a sushi bar, a Chinese deli, and a tortilla factory.  Oh, yes, there's a Starbucks too. At least they provide a map of the store for lost shoppers. If only now they would develop an app for smartphones and iPads that would tell you exactly where you could find such things as, say, pickled beets. Even though the store is huge there still seems to be some traffic jams, especially around meats and dairy and liquor. If you don't have anything else to do can be an exciting adventure, particularly if you make it on a day when they are passing out free samples.
