I can't understand why, with all the other technological achievements in this country, we cannot seem to get our air conditioning right. It is not comfortable to go from a sizzling 112 degrees outside to a chilly 70 degrees inside when one is dressed for the outside temperature. I had to leave a presentation in the Yuma Historic Theater today because I could not stand the cold. Surely someone can come up with a device that would gauge the outside temperature, accurately determine what a comfortable inside temperature would be, and set the thermostat accordingly. It is wrong, and possibly unhealthy, to assume that people want to go directly from the oven to the freezer.
