In the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears Poppa Bear asks: "Who 's been sleeping in my bed?" In a reverse twist to that a friend recently had a chance to ask: "Who's the bear in my bed?" She lives in the Sierras and recently, after a trip to pick up her mail, came home to find a bear sitting on her bed eating the cat's food. (See photo above). A little shaken she called the police who came and basically shooed the bear away saying it was the wildlife people who would do something with it. My friend didn't have a camera handy so didn't get a photo of her meeting with the bear saying that grabbing a camera was not the first thought she had. However, so she would remember the "bear in the bed" I created, with the help of Photoshop, a scene much like it might have been. She'll have this to remember the tale of "Char and the Single Bear".
