There was both remembrance and hope obvious at this year's Relay For Life in Yuma. The remembrance was for the hundreds of cancer victims who were remembered with luminarios which lined the track at Ray Kroc stadium. But the overall theme of the event was one of hope as demonstrated by the large number of cancer survivors who took a victory lap around the field. The Yuma event raises thousands of dollars each year for cancer research. It is an event that must not be missed next year.
