A FEEL FOR THE TRAGEDY

I am especially interested in the major earthquake disaster unfolding in Kathmundu, Nepal. That interest is fueled by the fact that my wife and I were lucky to travel to that part of the world in March of 2000. As the details of the massive earthquake are reported I can only imagine what damage the precious Buddhist structures such as the Boudhanath stupa (or temple), the largest in the country, From the photos I've seen from Nepal show that Durbar Square (shown below in 2000) will never be the same. While I review the photos shot at the time of our visit to Nepal, I will pray for the people of that country and the beautiful city in tatters. I hope you will too.
