A LITTLE FRIEND

I've tried for months to get a photo of one of the little ground squirrels who live on the grounds of the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service office where I volunteer in Yuma. These little fellows scamper hither and yon but rarely sit still for a photo. This little fellow seemed like he almost was posing. Maybe he felt sorry for me standing there in the sun on a 105 degree day and decided to give me a break.
