FROM THE ROAD: DON'T TRY AND DRIVE

Juneau, Alaska, is the only state capitol that you can't drive to. There are no highways into the capitol. Access is either by sea plane or boat. Another Alaska town, Ketchikan, also does not have highway access. Great for pilots and boats; not so much by those driving an auto or RV. With all the oil coming out of the state you'd think they could afford a road.
